Optimum heat insulation. The 2-layer construction used for the GORE-TEX® products is designed for a wide range of outdoor activities. Here, a specific GORE-TEX® membrane is laminated to the inside of the outer material. The heat insulation layer is suspended freely between the 2-layer laminate and the inside lining.

WINDSTOPPER® Active Shells are the lightest, most packable garments offering total windproofness, maximum breathability and water resistance. WINDSTOPPER® Active Shells keep you comfortable for enhanced performance during highly aerobic activities. In this 2-layer construction, the WINDSTOPPER® membrane is bonded to an extremely breathable and abrasion-resistant outer fabric. The lining remains loose.

3XDRY® treatments combine two technologies into one textile: On the outside the textile is finished with a water-repellent function, whereas on the fabric’s inside it absorbs perspiration. The treatment does not affect the appearance, hand or the air permeability features of the fabric.

• Minimizes perspiration marks: Only the inside of the textile absorbs moisture. Perspiration marks are practically invisible from the outside.
• Stimulates a cooling effect: With 3XDRY® , perspiration evaporates close to the body. This assists the natural cooling function of the body and ensures more energy during active phases.

Polartec® Power Stretch® fabrics feature body-hugging 4-way stretch and are very breathable. They keep you dry when you sweat and provide warmth without weight. All of the 50 KTS products have been developed together with the Sail Racing Test Team, a collective of international sailors. This line has been tailored so that every single product fulfills its own function in harmony with the rest of the line.
We have engineered our core values – Speed, High Tech, Innovation and Test Team – into every product. The 50 KTS line has absolutely no compromises in the construction, materials, zippers and details. These products are ‘work wear’ for competition sailors, who have the highest demands concerning functionality and fit.
Sail Racing’s designers work very closely with the sailors in the Test Team where the development of the products is focused on the wishes and demands of the sailors themselves. Prototypes are tested in numerous competitions around the world and followed up during running product meetings 12 months before launching a new collection. The cooperation becomes a creative workshop where knowledge and ideas are an important base for future development.
